SOS:  Save Our Sweater (or Shirt) Needle Felting Surface Design Workshop

Do you have a favorite sweater or even a t-shirt that has a hole or two or maybe a stain?  Come needle felt a design to repair and embellish your sweater or shirt. Even if you've never needle felted before, you can give new life to your wardrobe.  Your design can be any colors you like, simple or complex, but you are sure to enjoy the creative experience and getting to wear your creation.  My very first experience with needle felting seven years ago was embellishing a delicate cashmere cardigan with many tiny holes.  I still love it!  I recently tried the same technique on a favorite tencel top with a few holes, and it worked!  Sign up for the class or get a group together for a private craft night out with friends.

$30 includes instruction, wool, and use of tools. Additional $20 to purchase foam felting pad, kit, and needles to keep.  Ages 11 and up.

No sessions are offered at this time... Contact Jill if you're interested.

Art Journaling Workshop Series

Art Journaling is a wonderful creative outlet, combining written with visual expression. In this six week series, we will make our own journals, hand sewing mixed media papers, binding and decorating canvas book covers. We will use a wonderful array of art materials, including paints, art markers, gel pens, colored pencils, as well as collage and decoupage. $195 including materials.  Ages 16 and up. No sessions are offered at this time.  Please contact Jill if you are interested.

Paper Mâché Workshop Series

If you haven't done paper mâché since elementary school, you'll be amazed at how fun and versatile this fiber arts medium can be. Over the course of four or eight weeks, we will take paper mâché and our creativity to new levels, making sturdy detailed sculptures out of paper and flour. We will finish our paper mâché sculptures with a combination of painting, collage, and decoupage. $195 for 6 weeks  including materials.  Ages 12 and up.

No paper mâché classes are scheduled at this time, but if you would like to put a group of 4 or more together, Jill is happy to find a mutually convenient time to schedule a series of art journaling sessions.
